| Double Fleck is a very unique outcross bull that sold in our 2017 sale to Roundtree Ranch. He is unique in the fact that he is a 50% Fleckvieh Simmental bull that is homozygous polled. We admire the Fleckvieh cattle for their superior base width, volume, fleshing ability, fertility, and longevity. His sire the Jet Fleck bull has consistently sired moderate birth weight calves that turn into very productive cows. This bull performed well on test with weaning and yearling ratios of 110 and 103 respectively. His dam has been a solid producer with 6 calves at 106 weaning ratio. She is a long-made, sound moving 1275# range cow with an excellent udder at 8 years. His granddam is still in production at 11. His top 10% Stayability EPD also lends support to his potential to be a great maternal sire. The first group of calves from Double Fleck have ratioed 106 for WW in our herd. Use this bull to change those flat-made, hard-fleshing Angus cows that have become overly abundant in recent years. Excellent docility in first group of calves - top 3% EPD. Semen Available. |
